Q. If your company manager calls you and tell you that he want to discuss about the pay hike and give you two options: (Assumption : You are going to work for atleast next 2 years )
i) tht he will increase your salary by 19% this year and will decrease the salary by 11% next year.
ii) tht he will decrease the salary by 11% this year and will increase your salary by 19% next year.

If we closely look to the option both are same:
succesive increment and decrement leads to
19-11-19*11/100=19-11-2.09= 5.91%
OR
-11+19-19*11/100=5.91%
So 5.91% increment in total for both the case.
